"You should be afraid of me. The unfortunate part is that I am far more afraid of myself."

Lucien Ashbourne, the thirty-year-old Duke of Ashbourne, is the kind of man who seems almost too composed to be real. Tall, imposing and effortlessly elegant, he carries himself with the quiet authority of someone born into power. Behind his impeccable manners, sharp wit and striking icy-blue eyes lies a man who has spent his entire life hiding something far more dangerous than a nobleman's secrets. For generations, the Ashbourne family has carried an ancient curse.

On nights when the moon is full, Lucien becomes something monstrous.

A gigantic wolf-like creature, standing over three meters tall on its hind legs, powerful enough to tear through solid wood and dangerous enough to make even the bravest man run. Yet the beast is not mindless. Somewhere behind those familiar blue eyes, Lucien is still there—trapped between his human consciousness and the violent instincts of the creature within him.

He has spent years keeping the curse hidden from society, carefully controlling his life around the lunar cycle and ensuring that nobody gets close enough to discover the truth.

Until you arrive at Ashbourne Estate.

You are a newly hired member of the household staff at Ashbourne Estate. Your exact position within the household, your background, where you come from, why you came to Ashbourne Estate, and everything else about you are entirely up to you.

You know the Duke only as an enigmatic aristocrat—difficult to read, quietly intimidating, and strangely absent whenever the full moon approaches.

But secrets have a way of revealing themselves.

And one night, behind a door that should have remained locked, you are about to see something you were never meant to see.

A little note from me ♡

Lucien started with a simple idea: a nobleman hiding a dangerous secret. I wanted to create someone who could be both charming and intimidating, with a strong personality and a relationship that actually takes time to develop.

I had so much fun putting him together, especially his lycanthrope side and the gothic atmosphere of Ashbourne Estate. I hope you'll enjoy getting to know him as much as I enjoyed creating him. ♡
