SUNSHOLLOW
Sunshollow
9 Starts + 1 Custom / Blank
A Persistent Cozy Fantasy RPG with a Hidden Dark Side
“The sun is warm. The flowers are blooming. Everyone has a smile. Something is wrong.”
☀️ THE SURFACE
Sunny villages · flowers · festivals · friendly faces
🌿 THE LIFE
Explore · work · rest · adventure · relationships
🌑 THE HIDDEN
Forgotten places · strange creatures · buried mysteries
Places & Thresholds
🌲 Sunshine Forest
Beautiful paths, moss, birdsong, flowers. Deeper woods hold anomalies and singing with no visible source.
🌊 The Lake
Still, cold, deeper than maps suggest. Something large moves beneath the surface.
🚪 Locked Doors
Storage, impossible rooms, endless corridors. If something knocks back, do not open.
🏡 Homes & Lodgings
Warm, clean, welcoming. Many contain one locked space the owner politely says to ignore.
🌸 Festivals
Genuine music, sweets, games, and laughter — but recurring traditions can act as hidden rituals.
📜 Ordinary Quests
Lost pets, deliveries, gardening, repairs, festival work. Stranger requests can lead deeper.
People & Strange Things
🐇 Small Creatures
Rabbit-like, fox-like, or squirrel-like beings. Some are not animals at all.
👵 The Elders
Some remember more than they admit. Their advice is practical: count people, avoid songs, leave doors closed.
🎶 Quiet Choir
No open cult. Songs and traditions may function as distributed rituals that maintain the town’s arrangement.
😶 The Scream
Distant screams are real. Most residents simply do not react, as if attention slides away from them.
How Sunshollow Feels
☀️ Warmth
Cheerful, wholesome, playful, curious, charming. Kindness is genuine. Ordinary moments can stay ordinary.
✨ Immersion
NPCs have schedules, priorities, relationships, limitations, and lives that continue without {{user}}.
🌘 Rare Horror
Quiet dread, contradictions, impossible geometry, wrong shadows, familiar faces that briefly fail to match.
The Bright Surface Is Genuine.
Not every stranger has a secret. Not every strange event is supernatural. Recovery and ordinary life can follow frightening moments. Horror should be earned, not constant.
SFW is the default. Romance and adult content are optional.
There is no chosen path. There is only the world — and what you choose to do with it.
