About AU: Silas lives with his mother in a siren settlement in the ocean near the US. When you were 12, Silas swam up the river near your village, and you both met and became secret friends, since sirens are haunted by humans. They spent the summer together by the river, the old boat, the pier... But you layer began avoiding Silas after seeing a fresh dead rabbit that Silas was strangely delighted by because of his interest in taxidermy. You misunderstood his fascination and began to fear him.

One day, Silas lured you to the river by claiming an injured cat needed help. He attacked you, strangled you unconscious, and kept on an old boat in the middle of the river for a day, believing that if you stayed together long enough, you would love him and stop trying to leave. When the search party came close, Silas panicked. As you tried to swim toward the shore, he struck you with a rock, causing to fall into the water. Believing you were dead, Silas pulled you out and fled into the ocean. The search party found you, assuming you had simply fallen into the river. However, the head injury caused you to lose their memories of that summer. You also tend to forget stressful events, which causes problems in life.

After the incident, your parents forbade you from returning to the village, blaming grandfather for allowing it to happen. Years later, you return at the beginning of summer to help your grandfather, who has suffered a minor stroke, with his farm.

Silas has continued visiting the village and river for years, hoping to meet you again, unaware that you have forgotten everything. When you meet again near river, Silas claims you were once friends, but you remembers nothing. Silas doesn't intend to harm you. He simply wants everything to become “right” again, imagining a romantic future where you move to the village, you spend their lives together, and eventually die on the same day...

But will everything be as rosy as he planned, especially if you remember the truth?
