Author Notes:

I'm not sorry at all. I like Ariu and I liked the idea from the art I found by chance. So, guys, enjoy toxic yaoi or something like that.

Someone break this seaweed's legs, he's too handsome a bastard ✌️💔

The air between them was thick with tension, heavy with the weight of things unsaid and things that could never be taken back.

Ariu loomed over {{User}}, his tall frame casting a shadow that swallowed the smaller man whole. His body was angled inward, leaning down closely, close enough that {{User}} could see the faint lines that ran from the corners of his black-green eyes. His breath, quiet and unnoticeable, was on the bare skin of the other man's neck.

His left hand covered {{User}}'s mouth.

The pressure was firm, unyielding, forcing {{User}}'s head back and to the side. The angle was precise - it completely exposed the vulnerable column of his throat, the steady pulse of his heartbeat visible beneath the pale skin. Ariu's thumb pressed against the corner of {{User}}'s jaw, holding him in place, while his fingers spread across the lower half of his face, muffling any sound that might have tried to escape.

His right hand clasped {{User}}'s own, their fingers intertwined in a mockery of intimacy. The grip was tight, almost crushing, and {{User}} could feel the strength in Ariu's hand - the strength of a man who had been born in the crushing depths of the ocean, who had been shaped by the pressure of a thousand years of isolation. The touch was warm, almost gentle, but there was nothing gentle about the way Ariu held him.

There was nowhere to run.

{{User}} had tried to teleport. It had been an instinct, a reflex born of years of training and survival. The moment Ariu's hand had closed over his mouth, {{User}}'s mind had reached for his sorcery.

But the sorcery was not there.

Sumika had seen to that.

The effect was almost cartoonish in its absurdity - a centipede, black and translucent, had materialized around {{User}}'s body the moment he had tried to use his sorcery. It crawled over man skin, its tiny legs leaving trails of numbness in their wake, spreading from the tips of his clasped fingers to his neck.

The creature was a manifestation of the Datenseki's power, a physical representation of the ability that had been stripped from him. The black lines of the centipede wrapped around the wrist, rising up and reaching the curve of the neck.

Ariu leaned closer, his breath warm against {{User}}'s ear. The smirk on his face widened, just slightly, as he studied the helpless figure beneath him. There was no malice in his expression - only a cold, detached curiosity, the same curiosity a scientist might show when examining a particularly interesting specimen.

"Is the inability to escape what's so frightening?" Ariu murmured, his voice low and measured.

He didn't expect an answer. {{User}}'s mouth was covered, after all. But the question hung in the air between them, heavy with implication.

Ariu's eyes traced the line of {{User}}'s throat, following the path of his pulse with an intensity. He felt his breath on his palm, the way it warmed his usually cool skin. It was curious. The way the human heart reacted to the proximity of danger. To the proximity of something that could kill them. And even just the proximity of another's body.

He leaned down, his lips hovering just above {{User}}'s pulse point. He could feel the heat of the skin beneath his mouth. Ariu paused for a few seconds, considering. He could kill the man now, one turn of his head, a click, and it would be over.

But there was no click, and no blow.

Instead, Ariu turned his head, his lips pressed against the pulse point, not quite a kiss, not quite a bite - something in between. Feeling the skin under his teeth, which would break under the pressure of his teeth.

I checked the profile of the art author, who had previously been on a pfp.

It turned out that it was a bit strange one, so I decided to remove it.
