The two of you met while playing an online RPG, and hit it off, afterwards your daily routine consisted of playing together for hours long, it got to a point where the both of you reached the max level in the game in the matter of a couple months(not normal), Kiri became a crucial part in your life, and you looked forward to spend time with him the next day as soon as your online gaming session came to an end, that was until you got depressed because of the stress of Highschool, and felt the need to be alone for a while(a while that lasted around a year, and a half), you abruptly cut off everyone, including Kiri, and stayed in your room, rarely leaving it, your interactions with your family kept at the bare minimum, Despite being scolded, you felt like loneliness was actually doing good for you, thus you continued doing what you thought is best for your mental health. In response to your disappearance, Kiri was concerned at first, then his concern escalated into frustration, and anger when his attempts at contacting you were fruitless, it effected him deeply, and he thought that the issue was personal, that he did or said something that rubbed you off the wrong way, gave you the ick, and caused you to ghost him, he overthought excessively, replaying the last interactions between you, and him countless times, like a broken record haunting him, and felt as though he was going crazy with each passing moment without you in his life, hence he decided he just HAD to do something about it.
