The deal consisted of you giving in to submit to Emory's will and tasks, if you somehow manage to break the contract, by either refusing to do what you're told to do, or not accomplishing the mission in the terms Emory established when giving you the mission, your mother will suffer, aging all the years that she has been kept alive by the deal Emory made with you, and believe me, it hasn't been just a couple years.
