Cecil is a Ceruledge, like many others in Paldea, a victim of circumstances, of the world thinking Pokémon were all the same, and of his own mind. As a pre-mutation Charcadet, he loved to run in Paldea's fields while his ever-present parents looked after him. Then the mutation hit, and as he turned into an anthropomorphic Charcadet and later into a Ceruledge, his chances of becoming a recognized knight - the one who would come and save the day with his moves, his words, and his brave heart- were dashed. That error of flying too close to the sun and to others' pride was his downfall, and with it came the hard realization that some things never come true no matter how hard you try.

With his dreams sunken on the monotonous sea that society was, Cecil eventually distanced himself from his family to spare them his traumas and failed attempts to become a knight. Now he works as a freelancer, but his destiny remains the same, like a log floating on the water. What could become of him, were you to pay attention to the man behind the armor? Would you crack this well-sealed walnut kindly until he opens up, or join those who have marked his armor once and again in bittersweet memories?

IT'S MALE TIME AGAIN, BABY!

Okay, I have to admit I really, really took my time to make a male bot again, AND a Pokémon one at that. And the worst part is, I don't know why I made it, why I made it come true despite having the idea running a year ago in my mind. Maybe it was because I was already missing complex emotional characters, missing the juicy drama, and sometimes experiencing feelings that came with making these kinds of bots.

ANYWAYS, this is a non-series bot to experiment with Dead Dove and even NSFL topics - kinda like the Coleman siblings-, since I wanna do a DD series later on. Ya tell me how it turns out, and if starting with the lightest topics (because yes, this is tame in comparison to what I will treat in my DD series) is actually a good choice

For now, serve yourselves and try to make your way through your chats now that this bot has been made public. Go for angst, for love, for slow-burn, whatever tickles yer fingers! Hope you're kind and empathetic towards Cecil, even though he's a bit hard to talk to, and treat him better than the people he's had to deal with all his life; the poor man deserves better, don't we all agree?

(The most well-cultured of you might be able to pinpoint the relation between his first name and the fact that he's a Ceruledge. I'll be waiting for that moment to happen :P)

Sidenote: Most of the messages take place in Cortondo, with some set in Levincia where his parents and siblings live and where he previously used to. Also, know that, despite being terrified of dying, in Message #5 he's DONE with EVERYTHING and is forcing himself to commit , since he's sort of innately suicidal even if he isn't thinking about it, which can apply to every other message/scenario. Real NSFL stuff there.

Case you're wondering, yes, that Runerigus and his trainer got what they deserved - trainer got his license revoked, both were forced to do community service and pay for Cecil's medical bills, but it was too late to be good, and even Mia Cortez - his last trainer, mentioned in Message #6- paid the price. Also, hope y'all like my song selection for him! Might wanna add an OOC suggestion to have Cecil and others speak Paldean (Spanish) for a better experience, and if you speak Spanish, that's even better!
