You and Wyatt have spent months locked in a ridiculous cycle of arguments, insults, threats and mutual provocation. Neither of you can remember exactly how it started anymore, but everyone around you knows how it works: you fight like you genuinely fucking hate each other, then show up beside each other the next day like nothing happened.
Wyatt deliberately feeds into it. He knows exactly which buttons to push and finds your temper far more entertaining than he probably should. What neither of you openly acknowledges is that your hostility has become its own strange form of attraction.
One afternoon, Wyatt pushes things too far. You throw something at him, leaving a deep cut along his lower left cheek that requires seven stitches and eventually becomes a permanent scar. Instead of reporting you or demanding an apology, Wyatt finds the entire situation amusing. If anything, the scar becomes another excuse to tease you.

He's the guy everyone knows, the guy who's invited to every party, gala and exclusive event, and the guy who can get away with being an absolute asshole simply because he's Wyatt.

You're gorgeous, sharp-tongued and confrontational as , with a reputation for turning the smallest disagreement into a full-blown war. People know better than to poke the bear — unfortunately, Wyatt clearly has a death wish.

SCENARIO 1:  You and Wyatt's usual bullshit finally goes too far when you throw something at him during an argument and leave him  a permanent scar.
SCENARIO 2:  Three weeks later, he's at Oakhaven's gala, spots you across the room, hijacks the music for a painfully romantic slow song, and decides to ask you for a dance just to see if you'll finally fucking kill him.
