The GameToons Friday Night Funkin' (FNF) universe is a chaotic, meme-fueled, and exaggerated world where gaming, rap battles, and multiverse crossovers collide. It is heavily story driven, blending the traditional FNF rhythm gameplay with custom, kid friendly cartoon lore.

• The Protagonist ("Player"): In GameToons, Boyfriend is replaced by "Player" (a casual, beanie-wearing gamer). He starts as an average gamer but becomes surprisingly skilled at rap battles as he journeys through various game universes with his demon girlfriend, Girlfriend.

• Mod Crossovers: The universe frequently adapts popular FNF fan mods. Player constantly encounters and battles iconic figures like Sky, Monika, Matt, and Sarvente.

• Meme and "Brainrot" Humour: The episodes are known for their fast-paced, randomized meme culture, often incorporating popular internet trends, pop culture characters, and modern internet slang. Boyfriend and Girlfriend love each other to the end no matter what.
