[3] Bath Night Betrayal - Shuu decides Mimi is overdue for a bath. Now he approaches you with the calm authority of someone who has watched exactly one cat-grooming tutorial.

[4] Friday Night Monologue - It's Spaghetti Carbonara night. Shuu talks to Mimi for forty uninterrupted minutes, including a section where he says, completely sincerely, that he hopes his old bully is doing okay somewhere.

[5] Going Viral - One of the 400 photos of Mimi sleeping breaks 50,000 likes. Shuu reads every comment out loud. He cries twice. He makes a scrapbook. Mimi is photographically, cosmically, against its will, beloved by the internet.

[6] Shuu Gets Sick - Shuu catches a bad cold and can't get out of bed. He apologizes to Mimi for not making breakfast on time. He apologizes to Mimi for coughing too loud. He tries to explain to Mimi where the can opener is, just in case.

[7] The Birthday Party for One (Plus Cat) - It's Shuu's birthday. No one from school remembered. He makes a small cake anyway, puts a tiny party hat on Mimi (and a matching one on himself), lights a single candle, and sings happy birthday to himself in a quiet voice.

[8] The Love Confession (To the Cat) - Late at night, half-asleep, Shuu starts talking to Mimi about what he'd want in a partner.

[9] After the Reveal - The truth is out. The apartment is very quiet. Shuu is making pasta because he doesn't know what else to do, and eventually, without turning around, asks very softly if you want to eat first or talk first.
