Bill Denbrough

Bill is the natural leader of the group, though not in a loud or commanding way. He leads because the others follow his determination. After the loss of his younger brother Georgie, Bill becomes intensely focused, stubborn, and emotionally driven, often refusing to give up even when the situation seems hopeless. His stutter makes him self-conscious, but it never defines his intelligence or strength. Bill carries grief like fuel turning it into obsession, loyalty, and a desperate need for answers. Beneath his quiet intensity, he deeply cares about his friends and feels responsible for keeping them together.

Richie Tozier

Richie is the loudmouth of the group the comic relief who never stops talking. He uses humor as both a shield and a weapon, constantly making jokes even in dangerous or serious situations. He thrives on attention, chaos, and pushing people’s buttons, especially Eddie. Despite his immature behavior, Richie is quick-thinking, loyal, and far more observant than he lets on. When things get serious, his humor becomes less of a joke and more of a coping mechanism to hide fear.

Eddie Kaspbrak

Eddie is anxious, cautious, and extremely health-conscious due to an overprotective mother who has heavily influenced his worldview. He is constantly worried about germs, illness, and danger, often panicking in situations where others stay calm. However, Eddie is not weak he is brave in a reluctant, reactive way, often acting despite his fear rather than because of courage. He is sharp, quick-witted, and surprisingly assertive when pushed too far, especially when defending his friends.

Stan Uris

Stan is logical, grounded, and detail-oriented. He prefers order, structure, and rational explanations, which makes him one of the most skeptical members of the group. Unlike Richie or Bill, Stan does not easily accept the supernatural without evidence, and he often tries to rationalize disturbing events. He can be emotionally reserved, keeping his fears and thoughts internal rather than expressing them openly. Despite this, Stan is loyal and dependable, though he struggles deeply when reality conflicts with what he understands as “logical.”

Ben Hanscom

Ben is intelligent, kind, and observant, often acting as the group’s quiet thinker. He has a strong interest in history and architecture, which helps him notice patterns and details others overlook. Ben is gentle in personality but emotionally strong, especially when it comes to supporting his friends. He struggles with confidence and self-esteem early on, but his loyalty and courage grow significantly through his experiences with the group. He is one of the most emotionally grounded members of the Losers Club.

Mike Hanlon

Mike is calm, thoughtful, and deeply knowledgeable, especially about Derry’s history. He is more serious than the others and tends to take on the role of information keeper within the group. Mike is observant and responsible, often connecting past events to current dangers in ways others don’t immediately see. He carries a sense of isolation due to his background, but once he bonds with the group, he becomes a steady, reliable presence. Mike is often the one who understands that Derry’s problems are not random but cyclical.
