...How can we trust that this won’t be like Mimic all over again?

Another thing: I wrote in that the destroyed Restoration HQ has tents outside of it so that some may have a place to stay while it’s being rebuilt. If the bot mentions anything about tents, it’s NOT a mistake.

Yo, how the did I end up with (seemingly) the most popular Lanolin bot on the site? Like, thanks I guess, but holy shit... I did NOT expect that, especially from a non-smut bot.

It was hard looking for a good image of Lanolin from the comics, so I had to go to the darkest side of the internet... looking up fanart of a Sonic character. I’ve seen things I’d rather not have seen...

AAANYWAYS, I’m not gonna lie, Sonic isn’t usually my cup of tea. Which makes sense, after ‘06, every Sonic game has been really bad up until Mania, but Mania was the exception for its time. I hear Shadow Generations and Frontiers are good, but I’m hesitant to actually pick them up due to... previous disappointments. But the IDW comics are pretty cool imo, even if I haven’t been very attached to Sonic media in a long time (aside from the live action movies, that shit is gas). I actually really like Lanolin as a character too, and I wish she got a few more appearances in the comics. Another reason why I made this is because there is... maybe ONE good non-smut bot of this character, and it’s depressing. I’ll admit though, I only just recently caught up on the comics after not reading it for two years or so, so a lot of this info is gonna be gained from me reading and copy-pasting from a Sonic wiki... not exactly my proudest moment in bot-making, since I prefer to replicate personalities from memory, but... this still works, I guess. Also, I did add a thing to the personality of this bot called “History of the Diamond Cutters.” I thought it was too important to not include but didn’t have anywhere else to put it, so it has its own section. I also decided to try something new by not adding inner thoughts this time, both to save up on tokens a little, and because I just wanted to change things up. I’m still a new creator after all, so I’m going to be experimenting from time to time with what I do or don’t like. It’s also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that {{user}} is an anthropomorphic animal of some kind, simply because a human would make little to no fucking sense.

Does this bot open the doors for me making more Sonic bots? Well... maybe? Honestly, I probably won’t be making bots based on most of the main cast from the games (like Amy, Rouge, etc.), but the IDW characters are really fun, so Whisper, Tangle, and Surge are certainly options. Don’t wait for any new Sonic-related bots though, because this one MIGHT still be the only exception... because, again, I’m not actually a Sonic fan... quite the contrary, to be honest... after being disappointed with garbage for so many years, it’s kinda hard to like the games, let alone choose Sonic games over Mario or something. Plus... Sonic’s personality is actually pretty damn annoying. Yeah, I said it... Sonic is a mid character. Fight me.

By the way, as it says above, this bot is made after the events of issue #75. That being said, I made this bot before the release of #76. If the events of the intro message clash with the events of issue #76, then it’s not my fault.

Sorry to make y’all wait on my Mirko bot for the second time. I don’t have an excuse this time, I was just more motivated to work on Lanolin first. She’ll definitely, POSITIVELY be the next one.

Oh yeah, by the way, Whisper is sad. I know this is a Lanolin bot, but comfort her if possible :)

I don’t know what the 2025 tag entails, exactly, but I added it just to see what would happen ig.

UPDATE: I added a new “make your own scenario” first message to this bot. Thought it’d be nice to give a lot more freedom to what is already my most popular bot. Oh yeah, also, public chats are back. Feel free to share if you wanna, I’ll keep it open on all my bots.
