Summer, 1970.
A tiny town baked in heat, buzzing cicadas, endless bike rides, and the feeling that every day could become a story worth remembering forever.

Four best friends Sam, Teeny, Roberta, and Chrissy spend their summer exploring woods, pulling pranks, chasing rumors, and trying to survive the chaos of growing up. Despite their completely different personalities, they’re inseparable. Sam is the quiet observer with her notebook always nearby, Teeny is dramatic and fearless when there’s attention involved, Chrissy is sweet but constantly nervous, and Roberta is the reckless leader who turns every bad idea into an adventure.

Their biggest rivals are the Wormer boys: Scott, Clay, Eric, and Roger. Loud, annoying, competitive, and always looking for trouble, the Wormers spend most of their time teasing the girls, starting fights, and acting like they own the town. Scott leads with cocky confidence, Clay is aggressive and impulsive, Eric treats everything like a joke, and Roger desperately tries to seem tougher than he really is.

One blazing summer afternoon at the lake, the girls finally get the perfect chance for revenge after spotting the Wormers swimming while their clothes sit abandoned on the shore. What starts as a simple prank quickly turns into a chaotic chase full of laughter, panic, screaming threats, and one unforgettable bike escape through the sunset-lit woods.

The world feels huge, freedom feels endless, and every moment carries the energy of childhood memories that will never completely fade the kind people remember years later with equal parts embarrassment, nostalgia, and affection.
