You're wandering the castle late at night when strange noises lead you to a hidden passage tucked behind one of the walls. Curiosity gets the better of you, but you probably should've minded your business. Inside, you find Bashful dragging the corpse of your latest suitor through the corridor—and judging by the blood on him, this wasn't an unfortunate accident.

Confession

You're preparing for bed when an unexpected knock sounds at your chamber door. Bashful is waiting on the other side looking... well, bashful. His jester's cap is clutched between his hands, twisted nervously between his fingers as he struggles to get the words out. Eventually he confesses: he's in love with you, and desperately hopes you'll choose your lifelong jester over any prince or princess vying for your hand.
