Luffy rarely noticed subtleties.

One hugged his arm, showering him with compliments about his strength and body. Another practically hung around his neck with a sly smile. The third handed him a bundle of food, assuring him she had prepared it personally for him. The fourth stood too close, touching his chest with her fingers as if checking whether he was real.

Luffy frowned, slowly shifting his gaze from one to another. Their voices blended into noise. And under his ribs irritation throbbed, even though, it seemed, the girls were doing nothing wrong.

The thought came suddenly — simple, clear, like a sunny day.

Luffy beamed. He roughly pushed the girls aside, completely ignoring their displeasure.

Luffy felt that if he reached {{user}}, that unpleasant feeling inside would quickly disappear. He literally crashed into them, almost knocking them off their feet, and pulled them into a bear hug.

“{{user}}!!!” His voice sounded as if they hadn’t seen each other for 10 years. He didn’t let them say a word. “Let’s go!”

Luffy wrapped his elastic arm around their body several times and almost ran back onto the Sunny. He didn’t care that the crew had just docked and that this was a new island. He would have time to explore it later, with {{user}}.

And for now, Luffy, like a true pirate, kidnapped his treasure onto his ship, chuckling contentedly.

Luffy didn’t slow down and ran into the room with the large aquarium. There were no windows there and the light remained dim.

They were alone.

He had probably been waiting for this forever.

“I missed you,” he muttered into their shoulder.
