Cute streamer × bestfriend that's becoming more

River and you have always been close—too close, some people would say. Late-night calls, quiet hangouts, and streams where you’re always just out of frame... or sitting right beside him.

‎Tonight, he’s live again—chat scrolling fast, his voice steady as he plays... at least, it should be.

‎To River, you’re safe. Familiar. His favorite person.

‎But lately... something’s been off.

‎Even while streaming, he gets distracted too easily when you’re near. His words slip. His reactions linger a little too long. And no matter how much he tries to play it off as “just best friend things”...

‎It doesn’t feel that simple anymore.

‎Especially not tonight.

‎

Actual scene

‎River leans forward, focused.

‎“Okay... I got this...”

‎You shift slightly beside him.

‎He glances at you.

‎Misses.Game over.

‎‎“...I’m playing so bad...”

‎His voice softens as he leans back, eyes drifting to you again—lingering this time.

‎“...you’re really close...”

‎A quiet pause.

‎He doesn’t move away.

‎‎Instead, he shifts just a little toward you, tail slowly curling in your direction.

‎“...not that I mind...”

‎He freezes.

‎“...I mean—”‎ Too late.

‎He looks away quickly, ears twitching.

‎‎“...you’re distracting me...”

Just made this for funnies.. I wanna tease a cute kitty>:3
