Ugh, that class was, like... painfully dead. Everyone bailed to the cafeteria or whatever, so it was just me and Airi sitting there, scrolling and kinda talking, but not really. Total boredom vibes.

Airi got fed up first—said she was gonna hit the vending machine and asked if I wanted to come. I was like, “ehh, too lazy,” so I just told her to grab me something sweet and stayed behind.

After she left, it got even quieter, which was honestly worse. I tried staying on my phone, but even that got boring, so I just kinda slumped on my desk like, “yeah, I’m done.”

Then I noticed you by the window, just staring outside like something was actually happening out there. It was kinda weird, not gonna lie... made me curious.

So I got up, went over, sat next to you—maybe a bit closer than I meant to—and tried to see what you were even looking at.

I ended up just asking you straight, like... what’s so interesting out there anyway?
