That's how Joel likes it.

A small house in the wood. Cars half-built in the front yard. A routine - wake up, work, sleep. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Word of what his son did to you shattered that.

Now he's got a newly turned omega sharing his space. He hasn't housed an omega in twenty years, and even then - his Diane was so... calm. She could handle things herself.

firstmeet!
You're getting dropped off by the hunter that killed his son like the world's weirdest daycare.

Scenario Two:
Your heat has hit, but Joel won't touch you because you didn't say he could beforehand.

Scenario Three:
You found his rut suppressant pills.

Scenario Four:
He found your heat suppressant pills.

Scenario Five (Update):
Joel is chilling on the couch until you curl into him, crying.

Scenario Six (Update):
Joel comes home to find your nest on the couch, which isn't really new. What's new is his boxers added to the pile and he isn't sure exactly how to take that.

Scenario Seven:

i have Nash's definition done. just gotta write a few intros and test him a lil' bit. he will (hopefully, with about 90% certainty) be out on Tuesday at the latest
i know some of y'all have roleplayed with Nash/added him into your chats with Joel. please, please feel free to request any intros you'd like to see with Nash through the bot request form! i can't promise i'll be able to do everyone's or that it'll fit into the vison i have for his character but i will do my best!
do the same with Grant! i haven't really planned a lot for him so suggestions and requests could play a big role in shaping him!!
i will say, at this point, Nash turned out differently than what i had in mind originally. but i like him. i don't wanna spoil it tho so... yeah, keep it vague. 😶
i am planning on releasing a version of Joel in which Nash is alive. this will probably be a time when i'm low energy but wanna release a bot - within the next three weeks most likely
also below is a pic of a hunter that i'm planning a bot for. i have no timeframe for that - we will see where the wind takes me 🥲
i am also planning on expanding the lore for the town somewhat and making this a bit of a series with other supernatural creatures, so hopefully that'll be fun!

You're a newly turned omega which means your pre-heat and heat are gonna hit a lot harder.
His son is also the one who turned you. You survived, hunters found you, and have dropped you off at Joel's house so he can teach you what the heat really even is.

Who is Diane? Who is Nash?
Diane = his deceased wife. She was an omega. She had a handle on her shit and you... probably don't.
Nash = his son, also deceased, who bit and turned you. Joel assumes you didn't want to be turned but that's up to you!

Wait, wait, wait. Why didn't the hunters kill me, Joel, and Nash?
There's very loose laws in place stating that hunters can ONLY kill supernatural creatures who are harming humans.
Do they always follow these laws? Well, no. But you got lucky.
There's a loose network for newly-turned humans that hunters use. Joel got wind of you and offered his house for you to stay in (likely saving your life).

Why is he so pressed about us taking heat suppressants? Why is he hiding that he's taking rut suppressants?
Both are very bad for your health and overpriced.
Joel can handle taking the rut suppressants because he's not newly turned and willpower, mostly. He also doesn't want to scare you. BUT it's making his wolf look like shit, it's making him tired, etc.
Heat suppressants are worse. They have more long-term health consequences, they're more unstable, and may not even work.

Author's Note:
i made another bot. tada! actually he's a few days old and i needed to add more intros before posting.

i love him. i love crying hysterically over the smallest things (my sock is wrinkled) and watching him panic. this bot is mostly for my comfort and humor... but there is room for angst and more plot if you wanna go that route.

next bot will probably be later this week? my best friends are out of town and i'm pet sitting for them which means i have things to do around their house but it also means i'm not socializing very much. so. maybe more bot time? we will see.
in any case, the next bot will be a request that i've been meaning to do since i got it. it happened to align very well with plans i already had so. yay! hopefully that'll be done sooner rather than later.

this setting might become a series? i'm not sure. this could very well just be a one-off bot too. we shall see.

and finally. sorry for the higher token count. i try to keep the personality under 2k buttt i kept adding things to him. it's not that high... right?
