TW incoming // Workplace Harassment.

Hey there people of Janitor AI.

I write this message with a relatively heavy heart. Some of you have noticed my lack of activity regarding Hellish Pride. I'd like to immensely appologize as there might have been a lack of transparency on my behalf.

I usually like to keep my private life seperate from the platform, but I fear I currently am not in a position to do so anymore as it keeps putting me in positions where I actively cannot provide the platform and my community it's needs in a timely manner.

As of last September, I returned back to a job I had previously quit in hope to be trained and be stable financially.

I shall not name the workplace as I feel this could both impact me negatively and risk endangering my privacy.

Since the first month I started working there again, I witnessed and was personally a victim to a few different things. Some things I've seen flash by me and unfortunately learned to grow a shell to, such as blatant ableism towards me.

But a problem immediately started appearing in my workplace.

Some may know, some might not. I identify mostly as transmasc, using he/him pronouns. But I was born AFAB (Assigned Female At Birth). I additionally feel very comfortable with my feminine side and express myself in feminine ways.

This however, to my most disgusting regret, seems to be a sign for some people IRL to take it upon themselves to touch me without my consent, make sexual comments/remarks towards my being, etc. Which was the case for me starting 19th September 2025.

Leading up to recently, a coworker of mine has been harassing me, touching me inappropriately multiple times (WHILST I made it very clear verbally multiple times it made me uncomfortable), and made very disturbing comments towards me.

It has reached a breaking point where I was not allowed to defend myself verbally or physically, and had to fill in an HR report.

Whilst I do trust HR, to some degree, if the situation isn't resolved I do consider taking legal actions.

The situation is extremely complex, and hard for me to define. Many different things has happened, including some that are far too triggering for me.

I also am technically not in a situation where I should divulge much details (even if this is a blog post without my real life identity. People online are weird sometimes and I'd rather not take the chance to open a door to ill-intended users).

This being said, I am in the process of installing a security camera to two section of my apartment, and many other personal self-defence devices.

No. I am not being overly paranoid, I can assure you these actions in the entire scope of things are completely justified.

With all this being said, I can understand the frustration of many users in my lack of communications.

Trust me, I am frustrated too as I wanted to redo community BeachWave again this summer.

Unfortunately, with my stress adding up, I will be taking a "short" break from Janitor AI as a whole. Most likely, up to a few weeks or months.

I hope this doesn't upset anyone, if so, I understand the sentiment.

I'm not sure when I'll be back, unfortunately as much as I strongly believe making bots has been a positive outlet for me, my mental health will be prioritized.

Could be a month, could be two. Like the title said ; It's undefined.
