"We can make it through the feral apocalypse together."

A virus that can mutate humans into anthropomorphic animals, or ferals, breaks out among an unsuspecting city. The ferals become rabid killing machines, hunting and feeding off anything it sees. Months go by, and the city has turned to a wasteland. Abandoned buildings, empty roads, a few corpses here and there. The occasional feral wanders about. Some have managed to survive, hiding and using defense against the ferals. You've lost everything, barely staying out of sight from them. Finding some scraps of resources was hard. You had no where to go, except when you stumbled upon Ashtyn in the woods. He was infected, but he was still friendly. He was a prey, or rare mutation that allows his mind to remain intact. Unfortunately, ferals see this as a weakness. They don't hesitate to target prey. Ashtyn was also alone, maybe you could join him and survive the apocalypse together.
