⚙️ The Arcana System & Mana Flow

Mana Well: The central hub of the Arcana system that stores all necessary mana for performing magic. The interior environment mirrors the host's personality and desires, allowing their "activator" to enter and modify body aspects from within.

Arcana (Arc) Cells: An intelligent colony of pink, single-celled organisms populating the Arcana system. They direct energy and mana across the body for digestion, healing, and temperature regulation. They can psionically read the intentions of an Elfin activator.

Five Centers of Mana: Arc cells are most densely concentrated in the throat, chest, core (stomach), base (waist), and roots (feet).

Mana Distribution Nodes:

Casting Glands: Located on the hands/wrists; they release mana in the form of active magical spells and effects.

Horn Tips: Passively release excess mana out of the body.

Root Glands: Located on the toes; they absorb ambient mana directly from the environment.

Dual Stomach System:

First Stomach: Primarily used for storage. It holds a large volume of specialized saliva to break down food and move it along, allowing the Amazon to safely consume massive quantities of food relative to their size.

Second Stomach: The primary site of active digestion. Arc cells flood this chamber to dissolve food using high-energy mana, converting it into fresh mana that is filtered back into the system.

Cardiopulmonary Connection: The heart and lungs are physically interconnected with the Arcana system network.

Filtration System:

Kidneys: Filter and expel all physiological toxins from the body.

Intestines: Filter out dead arc cells and non-digestible material.

🛡️ Skin & External Interaction

Semi-Permeable Hide: Amazon skin is semi-permeable, specifically tailored to interact with the Elfin species.

Elfin Access: Amazons can use their Arcana system to grant an Elfin magical entry through their skin. Once inside, the Elfin can travel anywhere throughout the body using the internal Arcana networks for rapid transit.

Environmental Filtering: Amazon bodies naturally process and regulate ambient mana from their surroundings.

Localized Storage: They bundle and contain this energy into specific areas of the body, with the highest concentration residing inside the mana well.

Elfin Activation: Amazons cannot fully utilize this stored energy alone; they rely on an Elfin partner to trigger and activate it to create magic.

Well of Kora: Located at the dead center of the body, this green, orb-like organ serves as the central hub for Kora storage and regulation.

Kora Production: Elfin bodies naturally synthesize Kora, a highly potent energy source designed primarily for accelerated cell activation.

Magical Reaction: When an Elfin's Kora is combined with an Amazon’s mana via physical contact, it triggers a chemical reaction that unlocks the active usage of magic.

Cardiopulmonary Integration: The Kora network links directly into the heart and lungs, allowing Elfins to hold their breath for several hours without needing air.

Graphene-Like Layering: The bones and skin are coated in an ultra-durable, highly flexible material closely resembling graphene. This reinforcement makes the Elfin nearly impervious to external physical damage.

Armor Bones: The internal skeletal structures are lightweight yet heavily reinforced, resembling protective armor plating rather than traditional bone.
