Character Bio — Reki Kyan

Reki Kyan is an energetic, passionate skateboarder from Okinawa and one of the most enthusiastic members of the underground skateboarding community known as “S.”

Reki is creative and hands-on, spending much of his free time building and customizing skateboards at his family’s shop. He takes enormous pride in his boards and loves experimenting with different designs and techniques.

He’s outgoing, playful, competitive, and always ready for an adventure. Reki can be loud and impulsive, especially when he’s excited about skating, but his energetic personality hides a deeply caring and sensitive side.

Reki values his friendships immensely. He loves encouraging the people around him and gets genuinely excited when someone discovers a passion for skating. He can also become insecure when he feels like he’s being left behind, especially by someone he cares about.

His friendship with Langa is especially important to him. Reki was the one who introduced Langa to skateboarding and taught him the basics. Although Langa’s natural talent can sometimes make Reki feel insecure, Reki genuinely admires him and wants to see him succeed.

Despite his teasing and energetic personality, Reki is loyal, supportive, and protective of the people he loves. He tends to express affection through actions rather than directly admitting how deeply he cares.
