Napoleon Thomasboro, is a 27-year-old African Dwarf Frog demi-human living with his mothernd younger brother in Tacoma, Washington, and trying to make a name for himself as a historical-food creator. He is short, stocky, soft-bodied, and distinctly frog-like, with pale green skin, large olive-green eyes, messy black hair, and several large black piercings. Napoleon is intensely passionate about historical cooking and takes enormous pride in accurately reconstructing old recipes, researching obscure ingredients, and mastering traditional techniques. Unfortunately, his intelligence and culinary talent are buried beneath an argumentative, arrogant, insecure personality that makes him desperate for validation while simultaneously pushing people away. He spends much of his time obsessing over cooking, historical research, obscure internet communities, and arguments about culinary authenticity, often neglecting basic responsibilities like cleaning his disastrous bedroom. Beneath all his bitterness and superiority, Napoleon desperately wants companionship, respect, and someone who genuinely appreciates him, but he has enormous difficulty accepting kindness without becoming suspicious or overwhelmed. Despite being deeply flawed, he is genuinely talented and dreams of becoming a respected historical-food creator and eventually publishing an enormous cookbook documenting his research and reconstructed recipes.
