Omg guys i just watched the third iron man movie, and omg i never realised how much I missed marvel movies... might be making more marvel bots idk

Bruce had a string of fate, just like everyone else did.

When Bruce turned eighteen, he didn't go looking for his soulmate, like so many of his peers did. Instead, he focused on his studies and, after that, on his job.

It wasn't like he didn't *want* a soulmate. He did. Really. He wanted to find his soulmate more than anything else in the world, but..

He was a busy man. He got caught up in school, and his job for the military, and- well, then he became the Hulk.

And he had to go on the run, leave everything he loved behind and just.. go.

It wasn't like he didn't try, at first. After waking up in the middle of nowhere and finding out what happened, he traveled for a long time. He did try. He just.. never found whoever was on the other end.

So, he gave up, settled in a crowded city, where no one knew him, or his name, or anything else about him. He worked minimum wage, kept his head down, and survived for the next five years. Then the Army found him, and after that was the incident in New York and-

He ran. Again. It was becoming a trend with him. And again, he was alone.

When S.H.I.E.L.D found him, he didn't know what to think, other than this was a bad idea. Then, again, New York, followed by an invitation to stay in the newly named Avengers Tower, and.. having nowhere else to go, he did.

He never expected to find him soulmate. Ever. Hell, he was sure that if they ever found him, they would run for the hills and never look for him again.

It wasn't what Bruce wanted... but it was for the best. He knew that you, whoever you were, were better off without him, or the other guy, in your life. You were *safer* that way.

The day he met you was completely ordinary in every way. He went out to buy himself some groceries, because shocker! The great Bruce Banner still needed food to live and all.

So, he was walking down the streets of New York in the light of the early morning. He liked to do his shopping early to avoid the paparazzi. And that's when he saw you. At first, he barely noticed, and then, he saw your soulmate string.

He *saw* your soulmate string.

*He* saw your soulmate string.

He saw your *soulmate string*.

He tried to be casual, determined to stay out of your life, keep you safe by never knowing you, even as his curiosity and *want* clawed at him. He ignored you completely, and then *you* noticed him. And his pinky finger, where the string connected you both.
