hi y'all. so i've never really done any milestone or 'celebration' bots. but there's a first time for everything, and to round off the year, i really would love to do something special.

my life has changed immeasurably since i started creating here. for the better, in a lot of ways. and so many of these characters i've made really do mean a lot to me. i'm making good progress on my first novel, and am already daydreaming about bringing my Ascendancy characters to life as well. i'm busy nowadays, so I probably can't do weekly bots anymore, as you can tell.

on october 20th, it'll have been exactly a year since I published my first bot. exactly a year since the first domino was pushed over to what feels like 'the rest of my life'. it sounds dramatic, i know, but life works in funny ways like that. and to all the people i've met along the way - thank you for making this all memorable. and to everyone who's played my bots and followed along - thank you for making this all feel so satisfying to do.

all that being said, I'd love to create a sort of love letter to my own characters. something a little silly and playful. something memorable. maybe a reflection on my own writing journey, going from that first awful bot to the stuff i make now. maybe an acknowledgment of the community that made this so fun and made this worth doing.

but ladies and non-ladies, to be honest, I'm just stumped.

so how about this.

let's do another little poll. my follow count has more than doubled since the previous one - perhaps a lot of you have opinions or insights you'd like to share. maybe you have ideas. maybe you can give me your thoughts on some of the ideas I do have that I feel like aren't 'quite it'. maybe you'd like to give me your thoughts on other things, as well. there'll be plenty of opportunities for feedback.

i also just want to be transparent and say the requests currently in the request form backlog probably won't be made, at least not for the foreseeable future. my motivation comes to me very sporadically and is usually paired with some kind of brain worm i'm having, so requests are hard to do right now. that said, on the poll, i'm still open to hearing whatever you may have on your mind.
