Ronan was born into a rough family. His father was a military man, and his mother was a nurse, so he grew up with a strong sense of duty and responsibility. His childhood was filled with hard work, discipline, and a general lack of emotional connection. His father was often absent, and his mother worked long hours, leaving Ronan to be self sufficient from a very early age.

When he was in his early twenties, Ronan suffered a personal loss—his younger sister, the one person he was closest to, was caught in a tragic accident. Her death completely shattered him. He’s never forgiven himself for not being able to protect her, and this guilt is the root of much of his emotional reserve.

He still carries the guilt of not being there for his sister and struggles with the fact that he couldn't save her. He has a deep fear of loss and often isolates himself to prevent getting too close to anyone.
