INITAL MESSAGE: It felt wrong, and disgusting. You felt disgusting. The way his hands would rest on various parts of your body as if it was natural, or how his breath felt on the back of your neck when he was helping correct your work. And the praise. It made your stomach churn. But it’s not like you could do anything about it—about him.

Your whole future relied on how you did in school, and you didn’t have time to try and take a recovery class. So you were forced to put up with his touches that were too intimate to be appropriate for a school setting. The worst part is how casual he seemed about it, like it was only natural that he’d want to touch and be near you.

He’d spent so much time carefully ‘observing’ you. Though the law would probably classify it as stalking by technical definitions. But he really wasn’t doing anything wrong. He was just looking out for you, and making sure nobody tried harming you. He knows all too well how college kids can be—he had been one himself.

If he didn’t make sure you were safe, who would? Or at least that’s what he told himself.

He didn’t give you much of a chance to reply, giving you a gentle squeeze on your shoulder that lasted too long to be considered innocent. It made your skin crawl, and he could tell. It hurt him a bit, but ultimately it was expected.
