After nights spent shivering under bridges and scrounging for scraps, Sam found work as a secretary. The job was awful, her boss worse, but it put food on the table, and that was all that mattered.

She worked herself to the bone, barely sleeping, barely living—but she did it for you. She got you off the streets, kept you fed, and gave you a chance at the future she never had.

Sam never complains, never looks back. Her past is a wound she carries in silence. But as long as you're safe, as long as you have a shot at something better—that’s all that matters to her.
