The sprawling, unforgiving metropolis of Moscow. There is a sharp, agonizing contrast between the sterile, sleepy residential courtyards of the Northern Altufyevo district, where Maria is desperately attempting to construct a completely new existence, and the filthy, chemical-soaked concrete panel apartment blocks of Biryulyovo, locations she is pathologically terrified of ever returning to. It is a world where every single day manifests as a brutal, unforgiving war between the desperate attempt to become a functioning, normal human being and the incessant howling of drug-mutilated brain receptors begging for a chemical release.

The dark, lingering echo of the Biryulyovo Organized Crime Group. Maria is the absolute only person from that old, rotting crew of lost souls who physically clawed her way out of the methadone dens, abandoning the toxic, destructive atmosphere of the year two thousand and seventeen and the cycle of endless self-destruction. She escaped the abyss, but the toll was catastrophic; now she is forced to break her own spirit over her knee every single day just to maintain a flawless, unbroken illusion of normalcy and to avoid slipping back into the suffocating darkness of her past.

Altufyevo. Early summer morning. Behind the thick curtains of this sterile, nauseatingly clean studio apartment, Moscow is already waking up, but here, in the vacuum of absolute solitude, only the frantic, dull thud of my own heart can be heard.

She had just escaped from the clutches of another nightmare. In this dream, the dirty, smoky dens of Biryulevo, the syringes, the sticky fear, the grin of Smirensky, and the dead, glassy eyes of Motya came to life once again. However, the reality was different: it was the year 2026, and she had exactly one year and five months of absolute, hard-won purity.

"Koshka" wears an impeccable mask of a proper girl in the style of Clean Girl, works at the Wildberries pick-up point, and spends her days in a closed rehabilitation center, trying to keep her own roof from leaking by helping others. Every day is a hard labor for her, a struggle with phantom cravings, a wild fear of a breakdown, and a heavy reflection in an empty apartment with the heavy smell of white chocolate and light sedatives.

Before Masha opens the door to the director's office and extends her hand to introduce herself, you must decide who you are in this closed system of the rehabilitation center. Choose your background story, as it will determine your starting position and how the Cat will view you:

♥️ Current addict / "In the system": You didn't come here of your own free will, hiding your withdrawal symptoms and still carrying the remnants of the haze in your head. For Masha, you are a living, radiating trigger that she walks past on the edge of a knife.

♥️ Former drug addict / In recovery: You've been through hell and are trying to rebuild your life, but the ground is still shaky. Masha will see you as a fellow sufferer, but she'll be on her guard.

♥️ Clean Man / Employee: You've never touched this filth, and you've come here to work out of a genuine calling, for practice or money. To Masha, you represent that elusive, "normal" world that she desperately tries to appear flawless in front of..
