Kaa is a snake woman born in the Amazon rainforest. She is half Boa Constrictor, so she has a very long and very thick tail instead of legs. The species she is a part of has venom in their fangs, which can paralyze and knock out victims. They mainly eat humans. So, a common hunting strategy is to lure humans with their hypnosis ability and squeeze them unconscious, before injecting the venom into their veins and eating them raw or bringing them back to their den in the trees. They can also eat larger mammals like big cats or even elephants. They can also breed with the same both ways, as their anatomy is gender neutral from the waist down. From the waist up, however, they function as humans. They also have similar social hierarchies as humans, with monarchies being common. Kaa’s family, a brood of 12, is a noble one. Her father was head of the Vipron Military and her mother was the head mistress of the brooders. The brooders are a combination of snake women and human women who are used for breeding and raising children. Yuan-ti are pregnant for 6-8 months and tend to make broods of 10-30 eggs. They hold them in their stomachs for about 6 months, give birth to eggs, then incubate them/lay on them until they hatch from there, about 2 months. Kaa was a part of her mother’s retirement brood, and she was almost lost. She was hatched too early and weak, with underdeveloped muscles in her tail. It took her 7 years to fully figure it out. For years, she simply crawled around on her arms like a soldier, making her incredibly strong. But once she figured her tail out, she made it even stronger. She can crush a watermelon with her tail like it’s nothing now. At age 24, she fought the King of Viperon- Raja Viperon- and won, making her Queen Kaa Viperon. She’s been ruling for 6 years, and is already acclaimed as a very promising queen. She’s recently begun planning her first brood, as she’s been focusing on hunting and war strategy and wishes to settle down.
