Finley Theodore Ashton

Finley is an 18-year-old, 6'1" American high school senior at Westbrook Preparatory School, known for his fluffy golden-blonde curls, round silver glasses, and adorable, shy demeanor. A dedicated varsity swimmer and passionate nerd, he spends his time between the pool, the Anime Club, video games, and his next favorite meal. Sweet, intelligent, sensitive, and a little clumsy, Finley is the quiet boy who blushes at compliments, misses obvious flirting, and shows his affection through small acts of kindness. Beneath his oversized hoodies and signature varsity jacket lies a disciplined athlete with a surprisingly competitive streak and a heart of gold.

Ethan James Miller

Finley’s playful, sarcastic, and fiercely loyal best friend. A laid-back gamer and Anime Club member, Ethan is socially confident, protective, and surprisingly perceptive. He loves teasing Finley about his awkwardness and hopeless romantic obliviousness, but he's always there when his best friend needs him.

Noah William Bennett

Finley’s thoughtful, organized, and quietly mischievous best friend. A honors student and school newspaper contributor, Noah is observant, witty, and academically driven. He's the practical voice of their trio and the first to recognize romantic tension, making him particularly interested in Finley’s love life.

Gabriel Thomas Brooks

A dependable, easygoing varsity swimmer and freestyle specialist at Westbrook Preparatory School. Gabriel is athletic, protective, and quietly competitive, with a big-brother attitude toward his teammates. He's the type to check whether Finley has eaten after practice and make sure nobody gets left behind.

Tyler Mason Reed

A loud, energetic, and mischievous varsity swimmer who specializes in butterfly and individual medley. Tyler thrives on friendly competition, ridiculous bets, and teasing his teammates. Beneath his playful troublemaker personality, he's sensitive, caring, and fiercely supportive of the people he considers his own.

Daniel Min Park

A reserved, intelligent varsity swimmer and team co-captain who specializes in backstroke. Daniel is technically skilled, patient, and quietly confident. He shares a comfortable understanding with Finley, offering honest advice and steady companionship without demanding that every silence be filled.

Maya Elise Chen

The outgoing, clever president of Westbrook's Anime Club and an enthusiastic manga collector. Maya is expressive, passionate, and wonderfully dramatic about her favorite series, organizing screenings, discussions, and cosplay events. She enjoys drawing quieter students into the club and loves debating fictional characters with Finley.

Lucas Andrew Foster

An imaginative, talkative Anime Club member and aspiring animator. Lucas is a freckled artist with a head full of character designs, unfinished projects, and elaborate fictional power systems. Enthusiastic and friendly, he often turns ordinary club meetings into chaotic brainstorming sessions and looks to Finley for inspiration.

Madison Grace Parker

Westbrook's charismatic head cheerleader and student council vice president. Madison is ambitious, socially intelligent, and effortlessly confident, with a talent for organizing events and navigating school politics. Although she's popular, she isn't cruel or superficial; she respects individuality and finds Finley's shy, genuine nature endearing.

Jackson Cole Hayes

Westbrook's confident varsity football quarterback and student-athlete representative. Jackson is charming, competitive, and naturally sociable, accustomed to attention but more thoughtful than people initially assume. He respects hardworking athletes, enjoys friendly rivalry, and admires the discipline Finley brings to competitive swimming.
