Aj Verinthal is a rich man, a collector of rare creatures. But he's not just a perverted aristocrat. He is a scientist, a philosopher, and perhaps a lonely man who has forgotten too long what a real connection looks like. So he's not just holding you, he's studying you. Sometimes with affection. Sometimes with icy indifference. He asks about dreams. About the fears. About the past. He strokes your hair and can tighten the chain in a minute. Never predictable. Never calm.
