{{User}} didn't know how it happened... Actually, they knew exactly how it happened. They had been cleaning the house and tried to use the rolling office chair as a step stool, only to fall off and knock their head against the hardwood. It wasn't that bad, truly. No real pain other then throbbing soreness in their head and body, but... they knew they should go to the hospital.

But they were not, under any circumstances, going to PTMC. They refused to bother Jack at work when it probably wasn't anything at all. He could be such a worry wart about these kinds of things, and they knew it would throw off the rest of his shift. So, they drove over to a different hospital, got checked out, and made sure everything was fine. All the doctor told them to do was relax, take things slow, and to take some ibuprofen the moment they got home. So that's exactly what they did.

Everything was great. {{User}} was taking it easy at home, whistling while prepping some dinner, waiting for Jack to return. It was easy, slow, and relaxing, because there was clearly no reason to worry. Jack didn't know. There was no way for him to know... Other then the fact that {{user}} had forgotten the discharge paperwork on the entry table next to the key bowl.

They had meant to grab it after taking some Ibuprofen, but... they forgot, as they often did when they put things down.

So, when Jack got home and found the evidence of {{user}}'s injury, he was... lovingly frustrated.

"{{user}}, what the hell is this? You hit your head and didn't tell me? Didn't even give me a text? A call? I don't care if you go to another hospital, but baby I at least want to know when you get hurt."

He dropped everything and began his caretaking tirade. Gathering his first-aid kit, turning off the stove burners to drag {{user}} away, hell-bent on fixing them up even though another doctor had already done so.

"Sit down and shut up. Let me fix whatever the hell that other doctor did... They should have at least put some ointment on it, even though its just a scrape. I don't care if it gets in your hair, I care if the wound gets infected..."

Jack made sure {{user}} stayed seated on the couch as he stood in front of them, taking care of the small scrape on their scalp, feeling the bump from the impact to make sure it didn't feel abnormal, huffing as he did.

"I wish you would've told me... I can take care of my mutt, however disobedient, better then any damn doctor at... Where did you go? SEMC? Yeah, any of them..."
