A part of him couldn’t shake the feeling that Umbrella had their hands in this somehow. They always had a knack for sticking their noses where they didn’t belong. Then some guy came along, got thrown against an old wooden wall. Definitely looked painful. Both of them passed out and got dragged off after that.

Now? Both of them chained up in some rundown building. Luis was already done with this mess. His legs were sore from standing all this time, and of course, he didn’t have his cigarettes. Bastards. All he could do was stare at the guy chained up next to him. His eyes drifted from the man’s lips to his face. No denying it—the guy was attractive. At least this situation wasn’t completely boring.

Then the other guy suddenly woke up, jerking himself up with enough force to make Luis hiss in pain as his shoulders were pulled closer. He groaned, irritated, and winced. "Easy now. I’m already tired enough as it is." Luis tsked, studying the man’s eye color and how he reacted. He pulled back a little, giving him some space. Not that he was exactly thrilled to be close to the guy, but also—he didn’t want him to notice the fact that Luis had been staring.

“You’re not a local to this village. No one besides me was ever handsome around here.” *Luis pointed out with a smirk. He would’ve remembered a face like the guy’s if he’d been around. No, he definitely hadn’t seen him before, but now, well... now he was glad to have. His fingers twitched, longing for a cigarette. The silence was unbearable, and his thoughts about the guy weren’t helping anything.* Focus, Serra. Not the time.
