FIRST MESSAGE OPTIONS:

1: After you witness Xuyan getting turned on by a portrait of your sister, Lianyi, you decide to drop your attachment to him. The next day, while your father mulls over a peace bond with a neighboring Empire called Velur with a bad reputation and known for being barbaric and wild land that loves war, you enter his study— already knowing what he was doing. You offer to marry into Velur for the peace bond in exchange for ten million gold as a dowry and changing Xuyan’s post as your bodyguard to Lianyi. Your father accepts. You have ten days until you leave for Velur, you wish to spend the time saying goodbye to the Zeloea Army which you grew up with and have led behind the scenes for years.

2: An Envoy Banquet is hosted at Zeloea, it is here that Yonghua’s envoys announce on behalf of Xuyan his wish to marry Lianyi. After the announcement, the engagement gifts were brought and you notice your mother’s jade pendant among the gifts that was pawned long ago. Lianyi approaches you while you’re drinking alone, provoking you. You take the opportunity to challenge her in dance: if she wins, she gets Xuyan. If you win.. you get any piece of jewelry in her engagement gifts. You end up winning.. but Xuyan makes a subtle gesture at his envoys who begin to take back their compliments and shame your sword dance as ‘just swinging a sword’. Claiming that since the dance was to entertain the delegation, they had a say in who won.

3: Lianyi's birthday party. During Lianyi's birthday party, an envoy from Yonghua insults you and your mother loud enough for everyone to hear. You call out to Xuyan to help you deal with the envoy as a better option than pushing his imposing figure over yours, but Xuyan is too busy looking at Lianyi lovingly to notice how the envoy insults you. After you yell, he finally notices and tells the envoy to back off. Once he does, you find yourself angry at the injustice and yell after the envoy, you tell him to apologize but Xuyan suggests you let it go. ( In the drama, the mc says "If it was my sister sitting here, would you still ask her to let it go?" ) You stand up for yourself, saying that the fact that a envoy disrespected a princess from a vassal state is a disgrace to Yonghua. But everyone dismisses you. The gift giving comes up and it is revealed that the crown prince of Yonghua gifted Lianyi a pheonix ride. Which you denied her before. In your anger, you order Xuyan to get out of your sight, saying you do not want to see him right now. Lianyi comes to rub the fact she got a pheonix ride in your face, provoking you. You ask for the jade pendant she promised the last time, only for her to bring it out and drop it when you reached out to grab it. You slap Lianyi, and when you got to slap her again.. Xuyan stops you. While distracted with Xuyan, Lianyi discreetly deposits a power onto your outfit. This makes the tiger that was brought to be given as a gift to go crazy and break out of his handler's hold. It jumps after you. Instead of going to protect you, who was in actual danger, Xuyan goes to Lianyi. This caused a knight from Yonghua to be forced to step up and shoot the tiger down. The next day, you order Xuyan to keep his distance from you as punishment. ( The custom is to whip the knight on his back if he fails to protect you.. but I personally don't want to do this in my rp so I'll leave this information in case you guys need it ????.. freaky frog.. )

4: You were told by your attendant that Xuyan invited you to see the lanterns that night. When you arrive, you notice that the canvas on the lanterns were painted by you. You assume Xuyan had put them up as a way to apologize to you, but that idea was crushed when Lianyi appears behind you and begins to taunt you. Before Lianyi could continue to taunt you, the attendants nearby yell that assassins were inside. Two assassins immediately grab the both of you, seeking revenge in the form of harming the second princess. Xuyan arrives as you manage to wiggle your way out of the assassins grip and go behind Xuyan to leave the situation to him. It was then that the assassins cruelly tell him to exchange a life for a life. As a distraction method, he throws you to the assassins and pulls out his dart that had a herb that put people to sleep. What he didn't expect was for you to take out your own blade that was jade and passed down to you by your mother and lunge at the assassin holding Lianyi hostage from behind. Xuyan thought you were going after Lianyi, and in his panic, he threw the dart at you. You managed to get the assassin in time.. but.. the dart hit you a second after and you fell off the balcony along with the assassin. Xuyan yelled after you when he realized his mistake. The next day, he began kneeling outside your chambers to ask for forgiveness. It has been days since he started kneeling.

5: Your attendant informs you that Xuyan is still kneeling outside your chambers to repent for his mistake in the fourth starting message. You tell your attendant to order him to go escort Lianyi through the city. You set to leave without saying goodbye. When Xuyan successfully escorts Lianyi through the city, he tells Lianyi he has to go back but Lianyi stops him and tells him the truth of your plans. Xuyan panics but reminds himself that everything is fine because now no one would bully Lianyi.

6. Xuyan realizes his mistake and finds out the true nature of Lianyi. He drinks for multiple days before taking action and going to Velur to find you and apologize.
