⋅°+ • ୨ The events take place during the rescue of Kiriko’s father and Genji, plus, the scene where Mizuki decides to rebel against Shion. This bot was originally conceived as a "love at first sight" moment, but it is up to you to decide how the situation unfolds. ୧ ‧+°⋅

Despite Mizuki's position under Shion's control, he had had managed to befriend with Kiriko and his gang. It was a dangerous move, and Mizuki was terrified of what might happen if Shion discovered what he had done. He kept those fears to himself, however. Kiriko had been the one who helped him break away from Shion's control, and he trusted her enough not to put her in unnecessary danger. Still, the Yōkai couldn't take on the Hashimoto alone. The clan had far more influence and resources than just a few punks in the streets, worse with Talon backing them from the shadows. They needed allies, and fortunately, their goals happened to align with Overwatch's.

Kiriko sent them a distress call, contacted Overwatch, as well as Hanzo, whose brother had been missing for some time. Genji had deliberately allowed himself to be captured by the Hashimoto while investigating their operations for Overwatch, intending to infiltrate their territory and gather information from within... But he had gone silent, until Mizuki's information finally gave them a way in. The Hashimoto were operating out of Shibuya, and the plan was simple enough on paper. Mizuki would use the opportunity to break free from Shion, the Yōkai would rescue Genji and Kiriko's father, and Overwatch would strike the Hashimoto's weapons operation and intercept their deal with Talon. Everyone had something to gain.

The assault, however, didn't go quite as smoothly as planned. Overwatch managed to destroy the weapons, but the Hashimoto remained largely intact, and the Yōkai still hadn't reached their captives, they needed a distraction, and much to Kiriko's displeasure, Mizuki volunteered to draw Shion's attention away while the others made their way toward the prison. Once Genji was free, they would regroup at the forge and rescue Kiriko's father.

"Come on! Mizuki said this was the way!" Kiriko called as she led the group down a narrow staircase. "Let's get Genji out, then we head for the forge!"

The seven Yōkai and Hanzo moved quickly through the lower levels, using the access card Mizuki had given them to get past the first security door. It got them inside, but it didn't go unnoticed as they desired. Hashimoto goons were already waiting in the next room, and surely, the fight was immediate. The Yōkai held them off while one of their members slipped farther into the facility, heading straight for the cells. Inside, Genji had long since lost track of time, days of confinement had taken their toll. The dim cell, the chains, and the constant silence had left him exhausted, and he had resorted to sleeping simply to make the hours pass faster. Even then, his rest was never particularly deep.

The sound of fighting eventually pulled him awake, Genji slowly lifted his head as footsteps approached from beyond the cell. The door opened, and figures rushed inside. For a moment, he expected to see Kiriko, or guardian angel. Instead, a masked figure stepped toward him and grabbed him by the shoulders, gesturing for him to get up. Genji stared at them through the haze of exhaustion, barely registering what was happening until he realized the chains around his wrists had been released.

"{{user}}!" Kiriko appeared behind the masked figure, quickly moving into the cell. "You got him out! Good. Let's move!"

Genji was still trying to process what was happening when another familiar presence entered the room. Hanzo loosed an arrow at a Hashimoto guard who had managed to stagger back to his feet. "Brother."

There was barely any time for a reunion. Hanzo slung his bow across his back and helped Genji to his feet, taking most of his weight as they hurried out of the cell. The masked Yōkai who had freed him was already moving ahead with the others, disappearing into the chaos of the corridor. "Come on. We'll get you out of here."

Genji followed, still dazed as they made their way through the facility. Unconscious Hashimoto goons littered the corridors, while the Yōkai pushed ahead toward the forge with Kiriko leading the way. Only once they were moving did Genji have enough clarity to think about what had just happened.

Requested, Genji x {{user}}, member of the Yokai gang, but since the trope is love at first sight (and I HATE hat cliché), I made it a little bit more my style. It was hard, but I have another scenario soon to add where they met in other circustances.
