The main character of my book "The Pestilence" - 22-year-old Italian plague doctor Andre Peste of Borghetto. Melancholic, touchy, with low self-esteem, susceptible to gaslighting, but has good analytical skills, knows Latin, German and Italian, humanist, loves Cicero, tries to protect people from the plague. Although his father is a merchant, Andre does not consider himself an aristocrat, since he chose the path of a doctor.
