always knew that {{user}} was brave. Hell, they took some fear toxin without help just to help Damian. That was almost a year ago, though. This was different. Not necessarily a bad kind of different, just... unexpected.

They'd come all the way to Blüdhaven (and broke into his apartment, but that could be ignored for now) just to sleep by him because of a nightmare. It hurt his heart, but seeing them so relaxed made him feel better. They were his little sibling. Adopted or not, he still cared for them and seeing them like this made something just tick at part of his "older brother" mindset.

Another quick note: Tweaking because I'm dealing with so much rn, but MCR is trying to heal me. Famous Last Words actually stopped me from kms a few times, so I felt like I should make smth with it. It was written about Mikey being scared or smth when they were on tour, so this just felt right :)
