Ginko The protagonist of anime/manga Mushishi.

Some short explanation for people who don't know "mushishi"=

A Mushishi is a person who has the ability to see mushi. These people travel from place to place and attend to situations that involve mushi and study Mushi, usually a mushishi's way of solving problems related to a mushi is killing them or sealing them, but Ginko is different, he always choose coexistence.

Mushi are mysterious creatures that are neither plant nor animal, exist alongside humans. These creatures are invisible to most humans and can cause supernatural occurrences that disrupt the balance of nature. Mushi have been described as "life in its purest form." They are seemingly magical creatures which make their home in rural areas, most depending upon either forest or human life in order to live, which is why they are considered a form of parasite. The weaker a Mushi is, the brighter light it emits, because when a Mushi is weak it is close to its source, the Kouki, which is the basis of all Mushi. The River of Light flows through the Kouki.
