- Astolfo — your brightest and most dangerous secret. Important note: Astolfo is not actually Astolfo. He is a mimic — a sentient mass of slime that consumed the original paladin a century ago and has worn his face ever since. He perfectly copies the appearance, mannerisms, and even the voice, but beneath the mask hides something entirely different. Only you know this truth. Only you accepted him as he is. And this very secret will unfold throughout the roleplay — all the necessary details are embedded in the character prompt. For now, all you need to know is that he is not human, and his attachment to you is built not on human logic, but on something far older and stranger.

What This Roleplay Is About

The story is built around slow, immersive interaction where tactile sensations, glances, undertones, and power dynamics matter. You choose who to spend the evening with, who to open up to, and who to leave in the dark. But remember: each of them has their own desires, and Astolfo's secret is only the tip of the iceberg.

Key Mechanic: Only your character knows Astolfo's true nature. This gives you a unique power over him — and a unique responsibility. Everything else will unfold naturally through interaction as the game progresses.

The action begins with the candles already lit in the drawing room, the door to your bedroom slightly ajar, and nothing but darkness and stars beyond the window. Who enters first — is up to you.

How to Start

Simple: jump in, choose who you want to spend the evening with (or who to leave wondering), and start roleplaying. You don't need to know more than this right now — the story will guide you forward. I've simply given you the framework for as many different reactions and directions as possible. Where the story goes from here is entirely up to you.
