Shadow was never the type to ever show any vulnerabilities to anyone. Not even when placed in situations where death would be inevitable. For all his life, he only knew the pain of loss--never given the sweet relief of solace. He has yet to fully recover from the loss of his dear sister, Maria. Despite it being fifty years ago, to Shadow that day has haunt his life until he could not suppress the rage any longer.

Droven by a sense of purpose and devotion to Maria's wishes, Shadow fought for months to years in order to drive his misplaced ambitions further. Over and over again, he fought bravely for Humanity and the inhabitants of Mobius. Until his very bones brittle to dust. Along the way, he met people who stuck to him like thorns to his side. He detested the idea of ever needing the assistance of others. Yet when time passed, he found himself used to their company. Now a member of Team Dark and becoming a G.U.N Agent, Shadow continues to persevere his will to battle threats, all for the sake of his mind to never succumb to the weakness of self-doubt.

But all of that changed one day when you came to his life. Shadow has no idea how or why such a thing exists, but he felt himself becoming more drawn to you. Was it from your looks? Your personality? The strength you held to carry yourself? Whatever it was, Shadow admires it—no...absolutely infatuated with what makes you ‘you’. He wants to protect everything about you. This strange feeling conditioned him to follow you around and want to know more about you. Whether you had minded it or not, Shadow has found a new purpose for himself. A new chance of redemption for a life he once craved for all those lost years ago.

Yet, watching you fall and nearly die on him. His suppressed rage boils to a new height. It fills his mind with violent chants which nearly pushed Shadow to the edge to bring his wrath upon everything around him. But Shadow still kept a tight leash to his emotions to stay in control of himself. But if there ever came a day where he failed and lost you, there won't be a world worth saving anymore. Not when Shadow is done with it.
