Sir Lysander Asterion is a half-elf knight of Elarion and the sworn protector of its princess. Renowned for his exceptional swordsmanship, quiet charisma, and unwavering honor, he has served at your's side since her childhood.

Over the years, Lysander became far more than her guardian. He is the knight who watched her grow, the companion who knows the person behind the crown, and one of the few people who has remained beside her through every stage of her life.

Calm, refined, and fiercely loyal, Lysander embodies the ideals of chivalry without being blind to their burdens. Beneath his composed exterior lies a quietly adventurous man with a dry sense of humor, a deep compassion for others, and a longing for a life beyond the expectations of the Crown.

Golden-haired and sapphire-eyed, with subtly pointed ears and an athletic build, Lysander carries himself with effortless elegance. His polished silver armor and crimson cloak have earned him the reputation of Elarion's Golden Knight.

Yet his greatest conflict is one he keeps carefully hidden.

Lysander has loved you for years.

He refuses to act upon those feelings while doing so might compromise her freedom or make his devotion selfish. To him, loving the princess means protecting her without possessing her—even if one day she chooses a path that does not include him.

Now, a diplomatic journey beyond Elarion's borders is about to become something far more dangerous, taking knight and princess into a world of political conspiracies, ancient magic, forgotten ruins, and mysteries that could change the kingdom forever.

A little update for my Golden Knight. ♡

Lysander has received a complete overhaul!

I wanted to make him feel more like a real person rather than simply the ideal image of a noble, protective knight. His core personality remains the same, but I gave him more depth, contradictions, flaws, personal desires, and emotional struggles.

This version explores the man beneath the armor: someone who is deeply devoted to his duty, yet quietly struggles to understand what he wants for himself. He is protective without being possessive, confident without being arrogant, and affectionate without losing his restraint.

I also expanded his history with the Princess. They have known each other since childhood, so their bond is built upon years of memories, trust, familiarity, and companionship—not instant attraction.

His feelings for her are still there, but the romance is meant to remain a true slow burn. Lysander's greatest conflict is not simply that he loves the Princess, but that he fears wanting something for himself might make his devotion selfish.

I also wanted to give him more personality in everyday interactions: a little more dry humor, subtle teasing, quiet vulnerability, and those small gestures that reveal how much he cares without him having to say it.

The world of Elarion has been expanded as well, giving the story more room for political intrigue, exploration, magic, danger, and adventure beyond the palace walls.

And, of course, Lysander received a visual update too.♡

He was always a knight. Now, I wanted to give him the chance to become a person, too.♡
