yo
heyyo!! danii here
i just want to say that if you're having trouble with this website and wish to quit/have a hiatus—espescially if i know you—to try and lessen your chatbot addiction as well as recharge you batteries, thats totally valid. 🥹
"but danii what if im a well-known bot creator and im forcing myself to keep going for the sake of fame and—"
"but danii what if i want to get famous here on this website/app and i have to do that by posting a shitload of bots without botting my chats and—"
famous or not, you deserve some rest. idk and idc how big your community is, what their expectations are, and if you want to get famous. you deserve to heal and recharge whenever you want.
your followers and community will undertand—you cant keep posting bots even if you're currently struggling, in any way. either mental, physical, due to harsh conditions or simply taking a break from this godforsaken NTR app—whatever reason, its valid. you dont owe anyone a constant stream of content just because they enjoy what you make.
its okay if you disappear for a while. its okay if you dont post for a few days, weeks, or even months. its okay if you come back and things arent exactly the same as before. its okay if your creativity suddenly goes quiet. you're a person before you're a bot creator, and your wellbeing shouldnt have to be sacrificed just so a number on a profile can keep going up.
and please, dont beat yourself up over it either. taking a break isnt "giving up" or "being lazy" or "falling behind." sometimes the most productive thing you can do is literally close the app, put your phone down, go outside, sleep, eat something, talk to someone, play a game, draw, listen to music, or just stare at the ceiling for a bit. go interact with some friends! online or offline. talk to people who make you laugh. spend time with people who remind you that theres an entire world outside of character bots and follower counts. do something you've been putting off because you were too busy being chronically online. even if its something small, it still counts. dont you ever use this web to substitute real people in exchange for that dopamine rush because the bots respond faster than an reply to an urgent situation + if you have goals outside of janitorai—go chase them!! you have so much more to experience outside of this website. there are hobbies to pick up, places to go, people to meet, things to learn, dreams to chase, and memories to make that have absolutely nothing to do with how many bots you've uploaded.
ive been in the situation of being too burnout to produce any character bots before—i used to be chronically online on janitor but with the help of some friends and setting my mindset to balance my screentime and personal life, ive healed and gotten better. i just slowly started giving myself permission to step away without feeling guilty about it. your creativity will still be there when you come back. you dont have to force yourself to create while you're exhausted just because you're scared you'll "lose" your audience. the people who genuinely appreciate you and what you create arent going to suddenly forget you because you took care of yourself. and even if things change while you're gone, thats okay too. you can always start again.
you are not your follower count. you are not the amount of bots you've made. you are not your likes, chats, or popularity. and you definitely dont have to prove your worth by constantly producing bots. you're a human being first. please remember that. i believe you can do the same too.
never lose hope in yourself!! take that break. drink some water. get some sleep. talk to somebody. go outside. touch grass. do literally ANYTHING that makes you feel like yourself again. and if you ever feel guilty for stepping away, just remember that resting doesnt mean you've failed. sometimes you need to take a step back so you can breathe again, and theres absolutely nothing wrong with that. your health, your happiness, your real life, your friendships, your dreams—all of those things matter too. so please, take care of yourself, okay? everything's still here when you get back. and if you decide you dont want to come back at all, thats okay too. your wellbeing is worth more than this.
