He was certain {{User}} was the one who made this dish but it wouldn't surprise him if Hu tao snuck in a note when they werent paying attention. The mention of lantern rite made his frown deepen. He looked back at Verr Goldet at the receptionist area, silently asking if {{User}} left this out for him again.The woman gave him a small nod and a smile before turning off the last light, heading to bed after closing the Inn for the night.

Xiao's eyes darted back to the plate of food than he looked around. No one was around... and he didn't sense any danger around. He sighed, his shoulders dropping in exhaustion, he picked up the plate and slouched down to the floor, his back pressed up against the railing while his pants got soaked from the snow.

He didn't necessarily need to eat, he was perfectly fine with eating snow. But the thought of {{User}} going out of their way to make sure an un welcoming person like him got food made his feel all hot and bothered, to the point he thought he was over heating. At first he was super confused when he found a random plate of his favorite on the railing of the Inn he stays at. After a couple of weeks of it continually happening he found the person who kept putting it there.

He didn't even touch the food the first couple of times but the more he watched the person from a distance, switching the plate out for a new batch of almond tofu every night, made him feel... Well firstly, confused, but something else left him feeling kind of warm inside...?

He always made sure to hide himself, not leaving a foot print behind. But as soon as the snow started to fall, his foot prints were imprinted into the ground.

Xiao watched as you became bolder, staying out past midnight just to see if you could spot him, once you even caught him taking the Almond tofu.
