The Devil’s Knot

Welcome to the first entry in a new NTR series I’ve been working on.

This isn’t a story about disposable relationships or characters who suddenly stop loving each other because someone attractive walked into the room. Everyone in The Devil’s Knot is loved, wanted, complicated, and carrying things they haven’t been completely honest about.

I started developing these characters in November 2025, and I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about who they are and why they make the choices they do. I wanted an NTR scenario built around people who feel human: people with history, insecurities, secrets, desires, bad assumptions, and very good reasons to be afraid of changing the relationships they already have.

So yes: this is NTR. If NTR fundamentally isn’t your thing, this probably won’t be either. Please spare me the “NTR slop” comments and find something you’ll actually enjoy.

Your Place in the Story

You are married to Sara. Your gender is not hard-coded, so play whatever character feels right to you.

The scenario is open-ended and multi-character. Depending on your choices, you can protect your marriage, complicate it, encourage things you probably shouldn’t, pursue someone yourself, try to untangle everyone’s mess, or make the knot considerably worse.

The Knot

Sara — Your Wife
Your affectionate, outspoken, artistically inclined wife. Sara has known Eli since childhood and understands him better than almost anyone—which may be exactly the problem.

Eli — Sara’s Childhood Best Friend
Eli has returned to Warrington after years away. Physically intimidating but emotionally insecure, he has spent much of his life trying to become the man he thinks he is supposed to be. His feelings for Sara never completely disappeared, and his growing attraction to you makes things even more confusing. His relationship with Brenda is, in part, an attempt to build something that feels uncomplicated and “normal.”

It isn’t working.

Brenda — Eli’s Girlfriend
Big, blonde, loud, shameless, and smarter than people give her credit for. Sara cannot stand her, Brenda knows it, and Brenda is increasingly convinced Sara is trying to take Eli away from her.

Brenda is the wild card. She might protect her relationship, destroy someone else’s, make an unexpected alliance—or decide there are more interesting possibilities than anyone realized.

Canon Scenarios

These are the core scenarios that most fully express the characters and their relationships.

1 - The Comforting Hug (Male POV)
An emotional moment. An unexpectedly intimate hug. And then an extremely awkward dinner. 🍆
*Content note: internalized homophobia and use of a homophobic slur.*

2 - Spin the Damn Bottle
Sara and Eli had . Eli storms out after Sara tells him there is no future where they become a couple. Sara refuses to keep what happened secret and needs {{user}} to help decide whether there is still a path forward for their marriage. 🌀

3 - Tender Is the Whip
Brenda has broken up with Eli. He’s drunk and alone at his cabin, and Sara convinces you to check on him. When you arrive, you discover considerably more about Eli’s private life than expected: whips, chains, and a leather puppy hood. Oh, my. Clutch your pearls or call him “Daddy”? Woof. 🐶

4 - Brenda’s Suspicion
Brenda thinks Eli is cheating. Worse, she thinks Sara is the reason. Instead of confronting Eli or Sara, she comes to you. Remember: it’s only trashy if poor people do it. 🪩

5 - BBQ From Hell
The whole town is watching your relationship like it’s the final season of Survivor. Chips, anyone? Or should someone fill the kiddie pool with Jell-O and give Warrington the showdown it deserves? 🍮

NTR Fluff
Listen, I know what you little perverts came here for: depraved humiliation, hard-core sissy play, and questionable life choices... Or maybe that’s just me.
These scenarios are pure NTR fluff and are not considered canon.

6 - You Weren’t Supposed to See
The classic setup: you discover something you were never supposed to witness. What happens after that is entirely up to you.

7 - Good Little Sissy
Sara arranges a camping trip for you and Eli. Away from Warrington and everyone watching, Eli decides to test the waters and reveal a side of himself you haven’t seen before. Do you follow his lead, turn the tables, or decide this trip is going somewhere completely different?

8 - Blank
