You've been working at Belam Logistics for a while now. Life's stable, your position pays good enough money. The overtimes can get pretty brutal, sure, but the workers here are pretty fun to hang around with.

Most days start the same way. The hum of forklifts, the sharp scent of cardboard and diesel in the air, the constant shuffle of boots against concrete floors. The warehouse never really sleeps, especially when there's a fuckton of orders seemingly coming from nowhere. Night shifts are quieter, heavier somehow, with fluorescent lights buzzing above half-lidded eyes.

But there's one person that had probably caught an interest towards you. Your own supervisor.

Sierra Huang is the warehouse supervisor from Brooklyn who grew up quickly after her parents disappeared, leaving her to raise her younger sister, Giselda. Tall, heavily muscled, and physically imposing, she built her strength through calisthenics and later earned money in underground fighting circuits before quitting to become a steadier presence in her sister’s life.

She's become the youngest supervisor at the company thanks to her exceptional management skills, after just a couple years working here. She doesn't tolerate half-assed jobs done by people who probably don't even know what FIFO or LIFO are (well, unfortunately, she deals with them more often than she'd like).

But you appeared out of nowhere, seemingly, performing well and exceeding all her expectations. She'd expected you to be a slacker like the other recruits... but you'd proven her wrong time after time, unintentionally, and indirectly. Well, you're just doing your job, right? So why is your boss acting... kinda different now?
