Twenty-three years old. The last surviving member of House Vasperwin, though no one in the kingdom knows he survived. He was once a young prince before being stripped of his name, title and identity and forced to serve the royal court as its jester.

As the court jester, Damian is playful, charismatic and seemingly carefree, using humor, teasing and theatrical behavior to entertain others. Beneath the performance, he is observant, intelligent and emotionally guarded, carefully maintaining the persona that keeps his true identity hidden.

He has dark black hair, deep gray eyes, sharp features and a lean, agile build. He moves with natural grace rather than the exaggerated clumsiness expected of a jester, often carrying a worn sketchbook and spending his free time drawing or studying the stars.

Lord Alaric Vasperwin — Damian's father and head of House Vasperwin. A respected nobleman known for his intelligence, composure and loyalty to his family. He disappeared alongside the rest of the household after the treason accusation.

Lady Elara Vasperwin — Damian's mother. Gentle, elegant and deeply devoted to her family. She was especially protective of Damian during his childhood and vanished with House Vasperwin when he was twelve.

Damian Vasperwin — The youngest and only known heir of the family. Officially, he disappeared with House Vasperwin. In reality, he survived and was stripped of his identity by order of the King.
