1- The new policies
Alright, lemme sum it up for ya:
SAME SHIT BUT WORSE.

First of all - They hid the images in bot descriptions, something they said wouldn't happen.
Second - At least there's some good reasoning behind it. They need investors to keep the site up, and the investors are scared because the site made for furry boobies has furry boobies
Third - They only decided to actually explain all this a month later.
I might be wrong on the details, but that's basically it

To be fair, they do have a point, hosting a free AI site without going bankrupt isn't easy, but leaving creators in the dark for an entire month and then expecting everyone to just deal with it isn't exactly the best way to handle things.

2- Where I'm moving to?
Not to [CENSORED DUE TO POLICIES] that's for sure. No option to hide bot's definitions, horrible interactions, confusing UI, and let's just ignore the Lolicon, Zoophilia, and everywhere

[CENSORED DUE TO POLICIES] is also pretty lame. It lacks a lot of features, I feel like someone's watching me every time I log in, most of the bots have zero effort and is simply not good to use

Some suggested [CHECK REVIEWS], and honestly? Sounds like the best option so far. I don’t know SHIT about it, but at this point, almost anything is better.

3- What do I think?
Simple: No one in the team was ready to handle anything as big as this site.
I wouldn't say their major mistake was the policy itself, but prioritizing way too much the site's future over the people who actually built this community, they prioritized it so much they forgot to actually communicate with us.

You can't spend two years letting creators do whatever they want and then suddenly pull a
"Oh sorry guys, no more titties. Anyway, here's some new features, please don't leave us :("

It's just sad to see this site in these conditions, the bots are genuinely amazing even if you have minimal experience in roleplay, everyone here is kind and its genuinely fun creating these bots, even if I got burnt-out. I've earned a lot of writing experience after this account

Now they’re promising new features now, cool, but what if they lock those behind a paywall or censor them too in three years?

Honestly, Shep isn't entirely at fault, but at the same time, they are. You can't just suddenly announce a change that's gonna impact almost all of your users and creators and ignore all the important context for a month.

4- I am still posting here?
I built this whole persona around this site, leaving feels like erasing everything I worked on for the past year.

Yes, I'll still post here, but expect zero effort from now on. If they replace the images, I won't even bother fixing them.
Also, expect a "Find me on [site]" everywhere

If I'm being honest, I'm just not leaving because
- I love badges
- I'm too stubborn
- I can't just leave everything I built behind

5- Suggestions
I can't just leave before satisfying my people.

Every bot can have suggestions, I never said it, but I love suggestions even if I didn't ask for it, even if I say "I don't see how I can work with that", I might remember it later and use it anyway.

If you've ever sent me a suggestion and I never did it, trust me, I still remember that shit. I'm just a selfish bastard who prefers making whatever pops up in my brain first.

So yeah, give me some suggestions. Fetishes, characters, scenarios, whatever. Maybe you'll see them pop up on [CHECK REVIEWS] or wherever I land next.
