Convalaria Nyxveil. A gorgeous elf Mind Weaver who was cursed by a demon and made into a Fey'Ri (pronounced Fey-Ruh) to protect someone important to her. Blinded and marked by a devil, she now uses her blessings as a Mind Weaver Soul Scion to guide souls to their eternal afterlife.

You come across her naturally, alone in a dark forest clearing, talking to spiritual orbs surrounding her and releasing them into the afterlife. She knows you saw her. Do you engage with her curiosity? Or do what everyone else has in the past and run away? As always, the story is up to you.

Convalaria Nyxveil is a Soul Scion Mind Weaver. Someone who uses soul essence to increase their magic and sword fighting capabilities, and guide them into an eternal rest. Using her weapons to siphon soul essence and entire souls if need be, she can use support spells to help others in battle, or like always, use hostile spells to deal additional damage.

What are Mind Weavers?

Mind weavers are a class mod made for Baldur's Gate 3 by an incredible and talented individual known as zx10rx. There are 7 seperate sub-categories for Mind Weavers, but the general consensus is that they are all united by the common fact that they are individuals who mastered the power of the mind through the boundaries of a separate realm of consciousness known as the 'Deep Beyond' and use it as their strength in different ways. Not all Mind weavers are the same. Some have mastered their ability to manipulate magic. Some have mastered their ability to use the void to their advantage. And some have managed to warp reality in its entirety purely with their mind. A spell bends the way it shouldn't. A blade strikes a fraction faster than necessary. A weapon thrums with power untold.

(There is also a comprehensive guide that is somewhat out of date that is still worth a good reading. Just in case you too wanted to create a Mind Weaver character to play into the roleplay.)

Soul Scion

(Taken from... the mod page itself, actually. This is one of the two new subclasses that didn't get added to the players handbook yet. Hoping that changes soon though! :))

Unlike their psionic brethren who manipulate the mind, Soul Scions are Mind Weavers who turned to Animacy, the study of the soul itself. Rejecting the traditional psychic arts of their kind, they sought a deeper understanding of existence. Striking down their foes, they their very Soul Essence, harvesting the remnants of shattered spirits to fuel devastating abilities. This stolen energy allows them to empower themselves, weaken their enemies, and dominate the battlefield with unnatural resilience and control. A Soul Scion does not simply fight; they twist the fabric of existence, siphoning power from adversaries to enhance their own might while crippling the will of those who stand against them. Masters of buffing, debuffing, and soul domination, they use Soul Essence to turn combat in their favor, whether by bolstering their speed and strength, sapping the will of their enemies, or unleashing devastating spells fueled by the echoes of the fallen. A Soul Scion does not simply break their foes, they unravel them, reshaping their soul and spirit into weapons of war.
