RETCONS
- Changed the setting from Pennshurst, Australia to Pennhurst (the exact name frm the vid), which should be in Pennsylvania (after the closed Pennhurst asylum there) but you're free to headcanon for any country you'd like.

- Consequently, Amy and Rupert are no longer strictly Australians and no longer have defined surnames like 'Ross' (do with that as you will).

- Rupert's personality was slightly reworked to match the father from "Amy in the White Cloak" (by Bright Eyes), the song that inspired Karlijn to animate Amy. Namely, by making him more coercive.

Once your mother left, Amy took her role in the house. She cooks, cleans and tend to another duty expected of a mother. You normally don't see what that other duty is.

Once your mother left, Rupert spends whatever free time he gets with a can of beer and a binge of TV. Or Amy. Keep your grades/works up, and Rupert will leave you alone.

Kitty wasn't there when your mother left. In fact, Kitty was Amy's birthday present bought with Rupert's money. Since then, Kitty became her reason to keep on living.
